Scott Cao 950 violin 1714 "Soil" is breathtaking! A remake of the 1714 Stradivari model played by Itzhak Perlman, it is considered to be the best-sounding violin ever made.  The varnish on this violin is hand rubbed and illuminates the flamed maple. 

 Prize-winning luthiers make this Scott Cao instrument under the supervision of Scott Cao in their Guangzhou workshop. 

The "Soil" is made from high quality European maple and Italian Spruce, gorgeous Indian ebony fingerboard and Hill Style boxwood fittings.
