Doja Cat – Vie (2xLP)

Vie is the fifth studio album by Doja Cat, released 26 September 2025 via Kemosabe and RCA Records. The album marks a shift back toward pop-driven music, embracing ’80s-inspired sounds after her more aggressive and rap-focused previous project, Scarlet. Themes include love, romance, sex, personal growth and self-reflection, influenced in part by her therapy work and a desire for more emotional honesty.

Recording took place over several years (2022‒2025) at Miraval Studios in Correns, France. The album’s lead single “Jealous Type” blends disco-pop, funk-pop and pop-rap, signalling Doja Cat’s return to accessible hooks and melodic vocals while retaining moments of attitude and experimentation
