The Model 400 viola is a finely crafted handmade instrument by our award-winning luthiers of the Violin Society of America.  This exquisite viola is made from naturally air-dried and aged tonewood and is lightly antiqued with hand-applied oil varnish for the look and feel of a vintage instrument.  The result of this craftsmanship is a viola that is consistent with old-world traditional European practices in both look and sound.  A wonderful instrument for advanced players and professionals.

• Made of select high-quality Alpine/Italian tonewood - featuring a solid, tight-grained hand-carved spruce top and exquisitely flamed maple back, ribs, neck, and scroll 
• Fit with boxwood heart-shaped pegs, tailpiece, chinrest, and end button
• Set up by our luthiers with a rock maple bridge and D'Addario Helicore strings
• Outfit package includes case, carbon fiber and Brazilwood bow, shoulder rest, and rosin
• Available in 14", 15", 15.5", 16", 16.5" sizes
