PRE-ORDER ESP M-II DX/E - Liquid Metal Blue Lava
ETA: Jan 2028
The M-II DX is a clean, no-nonsense workhorse designed to perform effortlessly across genres. Built around a roasted alder body, it delivers a balanced response with rich mids and clear, articulate highs. A three-piece hard maple neck paired with a selected ebony fingerboard provides fast attack, stability, and a refined playing feel.
At the neck joint, T-5 Ultimate Access bolt-on construction combines a strong five-screw joint with exceptional upper-fret accessibility. The smoothly contoured heel allows fluid movement into high positions, making extended-range playing feel natural and stress-free.
Thoughtful functional details define the M-II DX. The recessed, boat-shaped output jack improves durability and ergonomics. A push-pull master tone enables instant switching to a single-coil-style voice, expanding tonal versatility with a single touch. Visibility is enhanced with double-stripe position markers on the fingerboard and Luminlay side dots that glow in low-light environments.
For tone and response, the pickups are direct-mounted to the body, producing a tighter, more immediate sound with improved note definition. The pairing of Seymour Duncan SH-1n in the neck and TB-4 in the bridge offers everything from warm clarity to focused, aggressive output—ideal for both precision and power.
