The 1994 debut of the duo Outkast, hailing from Atlanta in the U.S. state of Georgia, overturned the quasi-monopoly of East Coast and West Coast rap. "Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik" is a powerful disc with influences from soul, funk and blues. Especially worth listening to the key tracks "Ain't No Thang" and "Player's Ball", but also the singles "Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik" and "Git Up, Git Out".
