Cut – The Slits

The British post-punk band The Slits consisted exclusively of women. "Cut" is considered the defining album of the post-punk era. Kurt Cobain listed the song "Typical Girls" in a list of his 50 favourite songs. Already before their debut album The Slits played as support for The Clash.
