Ronnell Bright was in Paris for only a brief stopover during Sarah Vaughan's European tour; Vaughan was representing the US at the World's Fair in Brussels This extraordinary encounter was recorded by the French Polydor label at the Studio des Dames in Paris on June 5, 1958 - a simple, pleasantly relaxed trio session, one in which Ronnell Bright really gets into the keys in a way not often heard from him when accompanying singers. This session took place in Corpus Christi 1958, in a kind of euphoria, you can feel the joy and dynamism in the music.
